Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Sashmina collects when you visit or buy from this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Last updated: 24 August 2026.
1. Who is responsible
The business responsible for your personal information is Mumora Media LLC, trading as Sashmina, 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. You can reach us about anything in this policy by email at info@sashmina.com; our inbox is staffed Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST/EDT (Eastern Time).
This store runs on Shopify. Shopify hosts the site, processes orders and payments on our behalf and provides the checkout, which means Shopify processes some of the information described here as our service provider.
2. What we collect
Information you give us. When you place an order: your name, delivery address, billing address, email address and, if you enter one, a phone number. When you write to us or use the contact form: your email address, your message and anything you choose to include in it, such as an order number or a photograph. When you subscribe to marketing, if we offer it: your email address.
Payment information. Card and wallet details are entered on the checkout operated by our payment processors and are not stored on our systems. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded together with the limited details needed to identify the transaction, such as the card type and the last digits.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, standard technical data is processed so that the site works and stays secure: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site you arrived from. Shopify also records this as the platform operator.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and this shop is not directed at them.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
Essential cookies. This site uses the cookies Shopify sets to make the store work: keeping your cart, keeping you logged in if you have an account, protecting the checkout against fraud, and measuring basic traffic for the store owner through Shopify's own reporting.
Analytics. One third-party analytics tool runs on these pages: Microsoft Clarity. Clarity is loaded from clarity.ms on every page and records how the site is used, including page views, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, so that we can see where the shop is confusing and fix it. Clarity can also replay anonymised sessions and build heatmaps. It sets its own cookies and identifiers in your browser. Microsoft processes this data as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
What is not running. There is no advertising pixel and no ad-network retargeting tag on this store, and we do not run Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. If that ever changes, this section is updated before any such tool goes live.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can record an opt-out on our Your Privacy Choices page. Blocking essential cookies will break the cart and the checkout.
4. Why we use your information
- To take, process, pack and ship your order, and to send order and shipping confirmations.
- To handle returns, exchanges, refunds and warranty questions.
- To answer the messages you send us.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the store is used so that we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers who need it to do their job for us, and only for that purpose:
- Shopify - hosting, order management and checkout.
- Payment processors - to take and, where necessary, refund payment.
- Shipping carriers and our fulfilment partner - to pick, pack and deliver your parcel, which requires your name and delivery address.
- Email provider - to deliver the transactional emails you receive from us.
- Microsoft (Clarity) - to analyse how the site is used, as described in section 3.
- ParcelPanel - to power the tracking lookup on our Track Your Order page, which needs your order number and the email address or phone number from the order.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, where we need to establish or defend a legal claim, or in connection with a sale or restructuring of the business, in which case the recipient remains bound by this policy.
6. How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Support correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for handling your case and any follow-up, and is then deleted. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live in the United States, state privacy law may give you the right to:
- request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate;
- ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep;
- ask us to confirm whether we sell or share your information, which we do not;
- opt out of the analytics described in section 3;
- be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these, write to info@sashmina.com from the email address you used with us, so that we can verify the request. We answer within the period required by the applicable law. You may use an authorised agent where the law allows it. Residents of some states can also use our Your Privacy Choices page.
8. Security
We rely on Shopify's platform security and on our payment processors for the protection of payment data, and we limit access to order data to the people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we do notify you and the relevant authority where the law requires it after a breach.
9. International visitors
This store sells to and ships within the United States, and information is processed in the United States. If you visit from another country, you are sending your information to the United States.
10. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Material changes take effect when the revised policy is published here.
11. Contact about privacy
Questions, requests and complaints about privacy go to info@sashmina.com.
