Sashmina is a women's fashion shop for the United States. We sell coats and jackets, knitwear, dresses, tops and blouses, trousers and skirts, and two-piece sets, shipped free anywhere in the country.
How Sashmina started
Sashmina was started by one person, a man who has always cared about clothes and who wanted to build something that belonged to his family rather than to an employer. He had spent years working for other people, on other people's schedules, and the maths never quite worked: the hours he gave away were the hours his family did not get back.
The idea was not complicated. He liked clothes that looked expensive and quiet rather than loud, and he noticed how hard it was to find them online without either paying designer prices or wading through a thousand near-identical listings. So he built the shop he wanted to buy from: a small, tightly chosen women's range, priced so that a good coat is a decision you can actually make, with free shipping and a return policy that does not punish you for changing your mind.
He is a retailer, and the job he set himself is to run a shop that treats people like adults: honest product pages, a price that does not move around, and an email address that gets answered.
Our mission
Our mission is to make quiet, well-proportioned clothing easy to buy. That means a range small enough to look at in one sitting, product pages that describe what is visible on the item, and service terms written in plain English rather than in the language of a legal department.
It also means a small, deliberate range rather than an endless catalogue. Every category on this site exists because it earns its place in a real wardrobe through an American autumn and winter, not because it filled a gap in a spreadsheet.
Our vision
The vision is a shop that people come back to without thinking about it, the way you go back to a shop on a street you like. Not because of a countdown timer or a discount code, but because the last thing arrived when we said it would, fitted the description, and could be exchanged without an argument when it did not.
If we get that right often enough, the rest takes care of itself. That is the whole plan, and it is deliberately unglamorous.
How our range comes together
Sashmina brings together a small women's range built for the American autumn and winter. It follows seasonal demand across the United States, which is why it leans into outerwear and knitwear from September onward.
Each product page describes what you can see on the piece: the neckline, the closure, the sleeve, the hem, and the colours available as options. Every listing is a distinct item, so the same coat never turns up under three different names.
What you can expect from us
- Free shipping on every order within the United States, with no minimum order value.
- Every parcel ships with tracking, and the tracking number arrives by email.
- 30 days to return, counted from the day your delivery arrives.
- Exchanges for a different size or colour are free in both directions, and the replacement goes out as soon as you register the exchange. If it is no longer available, we say so and refund you instead.
- One email address, answered Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST/EDT (Eastern Time).

The range is organised into six groups, each built to work with the others rather than as a separate world:
- Coats & Jackets - trenches, double-breasted coats, quilted and padded styles, teddy and shearling-look jackets and blazers.
- Knitwear - fine and chunky turtlenecks, cable and rib knits, oversized jumpers and cardigans.
- Dresses - satin-look slip and cowl maxis, pleated and square-neck midis, knitted midis and ruched minis.
- Tops & Blouses - button blouses, oversized shirts, ribbed shirt jackets and soft jersey tops.
- Pants & Skirts - wide-leg and pleated trousers, palazzo styles, barrel-leg jeans and a tulle midi skirt.
- Sets & Tailoring - knitted and satin-look two-piece sets and wide-leg jumpsuits.
If you only look at one thing, make it the Fall Edit, which is the cross-section of the range built for the months from September to January.
